live sound accumulations, variable duration

a series of pieces/installations that accumulate site specific live sound within specific windows of time and within specific bands of audio frequency. for example, a microphone is placed in a space and records audio to a 20 second window of time, continually overdubbing and mixing with the pre-existing signal, for a period of 10 minutes. the frequency range of this input signal is limited to a specific area, any area, of the audible spectrum 20hz to 20khz.
